FAQ

  • I've never done hypnotherapy - does everyone get into the proper state needed to be effective?

    Yes! Hypnosis simply slows your brainwaves and it feels very relaxing. When your brainwaves slow it allows your conscious, critical thinking mind to rest and your subconscious is accessible. We all have access and it's a natural human state to be in.

  • What if I have past trauma?

    This program isn't a substitute for therapy but it can be a powerful complement to it, under the guidance of a licensed trauma professional. If you have painful past trauma that has never been treated the tools provided in this program may not be appropriate for you. I suggest you seek ongoing treatment from a professional trauma therapist and if you're not sure where to start, please email me for recommendations and referrals. If you have past trauma and you've worked with professionals, these tools MAY be appropriate for you, depending where you are on your journey. I invite you to message me personally if you have any questions about this. Your safety and comfort is held in my highest of intentions. A final note: if you aren't comfortable with your eyes closed, or relaxing guided meditations, this course will likely not be suitable.

  • Will I remember what happened?

    Yes, and you remain in control throughout the session. Hypnosis is just a slower brainwave, and an opportunity to be in a suggestible state. You will only accept beliefs you want to accept - you get to decide.

  • What if I fall asleep?

    Yes, it's possible you will if you lie down. This is why I highly recommend you sit up, head and neck not supported. As it's online I'll also recommend you answer my questions out loud and "talk to yourself" during the session.

  • What does it feel like during and after?

    You'll feel comfortable, familiar, and relaxed. Afterwards is different for everyone; some feel energized, some feel tired, some feel reflective and have a sense of awe and wonder. You might feel excited – or you may want a nap! Many people continue to uncover new realizations about themselves in the weeks to come and find they have very healing, intuitive, and / or descriptive dreams. You will always leave the session with a sense of understanding and empowerment.

  • What if I'm not visual, or don't remember many memories?

    This is completely normal; only some people are visual. Others are more in tune with sensations, feelings, or their senses. The important thing is that you work with what comes up for you. There’s no perfect process, no way to “do it right” because you can’t do it wrong. However it comes up is what’s perfect for you and we surrender to that.

  • How long do I have access to the content?

    It is lifetime access.

  • How long does the course take to complete?

    You could do one lesson a week and be finished in five weeks. But remember, you have lifetime access so please take your time.
